Babaji commissioned Aliyananda to bring Kriya Yoga to the West and initiate others into the practice as part of the World Peace Mission.

About Babaji - His Purpose and Mission
Maha Avatar Babaji was the initiator and the teacher of teachers. The Maha Avatar was the teacher of Avatars.
His mission was behind the scenes. He sat quietly away from the masses and initiated the great teachers of India and teachers from Europe.
This great Maha Avatar, this great soul has been on the planet for hundreds of years. His consciousness is a direct seed. What is this seed? It is the seed that comes down from Divine Father through the Milky Way and born into the earth through Divine Mother. All the souls are held in the Divine Father and then birthed upon Earth through Divine Mother as human souls.
His touch, look, energy and feel will initiate the wellspring of consciousness within you. He came to comfort, to call, to oversee mankind. He came with the light of God. He would say: “The poor sheep, they follow the idiots and Idols and stupid ways of mankind”.
His message was to go in, to fire up the living tree within you, that the word of God would fill you. When Aliyananda sat at his feet with the groups from Europe that she took, they would all be aware of the divine attributes that he had. He was like a Divine Father and Mother, supporting the baby of consciousness to grow within you.
He nurtured you, comforted you, taught you, initiated, blessed, healed and ignited the fire with the fire baptism. All were welcome at his Ashram, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jews, whatever creed, all were welcome - but on occasions he would evict some people from his garden.
The garden we sat in, the food we ate, the breath he blew on us was all blessed. He called it “the Himalayas”. He said the energy of his Ashram was like walking into his cave in the Himalayas. As we enter the cave within us, we enter into the same energy as the cave in the Himalayas. This is your journey to find the God within. He came to show us the way like our Lord Jesus - they worked together on earth to show us the way.
As a disciple of Babaji, Aliyananda works with him to show you the way. His love is ever present. He overshadows all the teachings. He is ever constant. His consciousness is around Aliyananda and supports her in her teachings. Aliyananda has been with him for a very long time and Babaji has asked her at this time to initiate the World Peace Mission for him. As you come to Aliyananda and you are taught and initiated by her, so the light of Babaji blesses you also and you are under his wing. The light of Babaji overshadows you and emanates with you and through you. It is so.
Time is not forwards or backwards. The time is always now. Make the step to open and be in time with the breath and consciousness of NOW.
